Our shop

The tourist information now has a new selection of souvenirs with different touches of Eksjö!

You can for example buy match boxes with beautiful pictures from Eksjö on or watercolour pictures of the Aschanska courtyard house and the Chaser Lundin courtyard house painted by the artist Bertram Timm.
We also have jigsaw puzzles and bookmarks with photos from Eksjö. Or how about keychains, butter knives, T-shirts and tote bags with an Eksjö silhouette on. You are welcome to visit us and have a look at all our Eksjö souvernirs!

General information about the shop of Eksjö Tourist office

The shop follows the concept of "Eksjö - the unique wooden town".

Profile:  The shop has to be genuine and sell products of a high quality. We are above all to sell products with local or Smålandish origin. As far as possible we choose to sell ethical and ecological products. We also think about sustainability and recycling.

Handicraft:  All handicraft that we sell shall be entirely produced by the craftsman himself, and made of quality materials. Semimanufactured articles cannot occur. The handicraft shall have a local origin.

Souvenirs:  To the greatest possible extent souvenirs shall be made in Sweden. If it is not possible to find a good product that has been made in Sweden, we can bring in products that have been made in Europe. When buying souvenirs we want to follow the purchase policy of Eksjö tourist information office/STF Youth hostel Eksjö.

Furnishing:  The furnishing of the shop reflects a late 19th century home environment.

Goal:  We want to strive towards having eco-labelled or eco-friendly products, and towards having a large share of our products being produced in Sweden.
